The La Cygne Journal (La Cygne, KS)

Feb. 21, 1893

Thos. Estep, son of Enoch Estep, died at his home west of Pleasanton, Tuesday night of pneumonia fever. He had only been sick one week and his death was a sad surprise to his many friends. Thos. Estep was raised in this vicinity and he was known to nearly every one. He was honest in all his dealings, a good neighbor and a kind husband and father. He leaves a wife and three children who have the sympathy of a host of friends. The remains were buried in Fisher cemetery.
